As fan interest grew, Steinborn moved from the Legion Arena to the Orlando Sports Stadium when it opened on the Econlockhatchee Trail in 1967. According to a Sentinel report from 2008, thousands of fans blocked the stadium, which was built for rodeos to “watch wrestlers like Dusty Rhodes, the Brisco brothers, Mike and Eddie Graham, Dick Slater, Bob Orton or Bob Roop”. Eventually, wrestling moved to Orlando after Sunday night.
