CLOCK: Steve Wilson was live with the latest Stories of Service when Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 1 was at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport to fly the POW / MIA flag ahead of tomorrow’s The Great Florida Air Show at the airport this weekend .

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Steve Wilson was live with the latest Stories of Service when Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 1 was at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport to fly the POW / MIA flag ahead of tomorrow’s The Great Florida Air Show ‘To hoist’ at the airport this weekend.

The airport executive director Greg Donovan, Melbourne decorated Army Veteran / Vice Mayor Tim Thomas and Rolling Thunder Vice President William Van Doren spoke during the flag-raising ceremony.

The Great Florida Air Show, presented by Northrop Grumman and produced by The Air Show Network, will take place on Saturday May 15 and Sunday May 16 at Orlando Melbourne International Airport.

Health First, a leading health care provider on the Space Coast, will be distributing 1,000 tickets donated by the Great Florida Air Show to frontline workers in its network of over 9,000 employees.

Tickets are available in sets of two or four, depending on availability. Additionally, the air show recognizes all frontline staff who are present throughout the day.

AIRSHOW SCHEDULE

8 o’clock in the morning – Gates open. Static displays, vendors and exhibits are open.
17 o’clock – Show ends.

Schedules for specific performances are not published in advance. The performance times can change without prior notice. Aircraft appearances may change for many reasons beyond our control including, but not limited to, maintenance, weather, or other circumstances.

■ Parking is subject to availability.
■ Please plan an early arrival to ensure a good parking space.
■ Disabled parking spaces are available.
■ Please have your state-issued poster or hanging label with you so that the parking attendant can direct you to the relevant parking space.
■ Improved parking permits can be purchased in advance on our TICKETS page.

NOTE: Air shows are big events. Please note that the traffic in the show parking lot can be heavy. Please follow the signs for the air show. The traffic can be directed in a certain way to accommodate the large number of visitors to the air shows and / or due to road closures.
