During a media event on Friday afternoon, officials shocked the crowd by making the big announcement during a presentation. The terrifying Halloween event will feature an array of heartbreaking haunted houses, fear zones and roaming locations, incredible food and drink, and energetic stage shows.

“We are not afraid of the horror! It will be written on your face and it will be epic, “said Cindi Miller, Vice President, Entertainment, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, during the event.

The theme of this year’s event revolves around the Bayside Lake Siren who stood up to take revenge on the guests who entered.

“Our goal, there is no place to hide. When you attend this event, there is fear around every corner, ”said Matt Ashman, SeaWorld Production Manager of Entertainment.

In addition to the horrors, guests also get the chance to scream on SeaWorld Orlando’s popular roller coasters and sample some signature drinks, including Siren’s Kiss. The cocktail contains vodka, grenadine, lemon juice and aromas of pear and blackberry sour.

The celebrations begin every evening at 7 p.m. and last until 2 a.m.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Florida’s other park, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, has been providing fun for several years with its own Howl-O-Scream event. Busch Gardens announced details of its Howl-O-Scream event earlier this week.

The separately available Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando will run 27 nights from September 10th until Halloween night. In addition to Howl-O-Scream, SeaWorld Orlando is again offering its popular Halloween Spooktacular during the day, which offers trick or treating for children of all ages.

“We have an amazing creative team that allows our families to enjoy the Spooktacular during the day and then we’ll turn it over and make it scary,” said Miller.

The addition to SeaWorld Orlando adds to the Halloween festivities in central Florida theme parks. This week, Walt Disney World announced more information on its brand new Disney After Hours BOO BASH event, while Universal Orlando only released some details on its Halloween Horror Nights event.

Howl-O-Scream tickets at SeaWorld Orlando are now available with exclusive discounts for Annual Pass members. Single night tickets cost between $ 29.99 and $ 50.99, depending on the guest’s visit date. SeaWorld Orlando is also offering a $ 79.99 two park ticket that gives guests access to Howl-O-Scream events at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

“We are very excited to announce Howl-O-Scream today and look forward to sharing all of the amazing details of the event over the next few months,” said Kyle Miller, President of SeaWorld Orlando Park.
