ORLANDO, Florida – Portillo’s, the chain of restaurants known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, is officially opening its new Orlando location on June 15th, but avid fans won’t have to wait that long to try it out.

What you need to know

  • Customers can come to eat even though the opening times are not fixed
  • The menu includes Chicago-style hot dogs, an Italian beef sandwich, and more

During the soft opening, customers can dine, order take-away or use the drive-through. There is indoor seating as well as seating in the restaurants on two covered terraces. The 7,800 square meter restaurant is decorated inside in a vintage rock ‘n’ roll style.

In addition to Chicago-style hot dogs, the menu also includes Italian beef sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, burgers, and salads. The restaurant also offers soups, fries, and onion rings, as well as desserts like a piece of chocolate cake.

Portillo’s delayed the opening of its Orlando restaurant several times, initially planning a debut in March. The restaurant adjoins the recently opened White Castle, also located in the Village at O-Town West.

Portillo’s already has two restaurants in Florida – one in Tampa and one in Brandon.
