Portillo units new opening date for Orlando
ORLANDO, Florida – Portillo’s, the chain of restaurants known for their Chicago-style hot dogs, has set a new opening date for its new restaurant near Disney World.

The restaurant on Palm Parkway in the Village of the O-Town West Complex was originally scheduled to open to the public on March 2nd.
It will now open on Tuesday March 23, Portillo says in a press release after a delay in construction.
“We can’t wait to see all of Portillo’s loyal fans in Orlando, but as of today, guests will have to wait a little longer,” a Portillo spokesman said in a statement. “We have finished building our new restaurant and have to postpone the original opening date to March 2nd. Portillo thanks everyone for their patience and will surely share a new opening period as soon as possible.”
The new 7,800 square meter restaurant will have double drive-through lanes and two large covered outdoor terraces. Inside the restaurant, a classic diner theme with rock and roll decor awaits you.
In addition to hot dogs, the menu also includes Italian beef sandwiches, burgers, French fries and the chain’s famous chocolate cake.
Portillo’s, based in Illinois, has two other locations in Florida: a restaurant in Tampa and one in Brandon.
