PHOTO REPORT: Universal Orlando Resort 5/17/21 (Jurassic World Isla Nublar IPA, Little Blues Brother Fan, Fieval’s Playland Reopening, and More)
It’s a busy day again here at the Universal Orlando Resort! Let’s go to Islands of Adventure first and see what’s new.
VelociCoaster opened gently throughout and the waiting times weren’t too bad. We love the height control at the entrance. Check out the little dinosaur feet!
We stopped at Jurassic Park to try out the new Jurassic World Isla Nublar IPA. You can get it at Burger Digs, Watering Hole, Thunder Falls Terrace, and Natural Selections.
There’s a new Jurassic World hat “They Were Here First” for $ 26 that goes with many other new merchandise recently launched.
It’s a very busy day here at Universal Orlando!
Universal Studios Florida was just as busy as Islands of Adventure.
Over in KidZone, Fieval’s Playland has reopened. Some of the slides and play areas are off-limits, but there are still plenty of fun things kids can do here. The water slide has reopened too, so we decided to take a raft and do the ride. If you’ve never experienced this little water slide before, we recommend that you try it out on your next visit!
It was a hot, busy afternoon, especially in Diagon Alley. The parks seem a lot crowded lately, but luckily the waiting times for attractions aren’t bad.
Waiting for food can even take longer than the attractions.
Painting is taking place in the courtyard of the old Barney Theater.
A little fan of the Blues Brothers put on a great dance performance along with Jake and Elwood. Great to see how young and old are enjoying this popular show in the park.
Thank you for joining us in the parks today. We’ll be back soon. So keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
