KFC announced Tuesday that they are testing a larger “premium” chicken sandwich in Orlando.

The fried chicken dealers will initially ship the new product to select frontline workers featured in the Orlando Sentinel’s pandemic portraits, including teachers, auto mechanics, police officers and others.

Calling it “bigger and better than KFC’s current sandwich,” KFC really kicks its head off because there’s no better chicken sandwich around before.

“We wanted a chicken sandwich that really lived up to our legacy as fried chicken experts and, let’s face it, our sandwich wasn’t the one to beat,” said Andrea Zahumensky, Head of Marketing at KFC US. to create a bigger, better, higher quality sandwich than ever before. I think we unlocked a chicken sandwich that not only competes – it will win with fried chicken lovers everywhere. ”

You’re certainly referring to Popeyes, who introduced a chicken sandwich in 2019 that caused more than just a few jams. And as long as it’s not Sunday, Chick-fil-A also has a more popular sandwich than KFC.

The new Sando is a 20 percent larger, double-breaded, extra crispy chicken fillet on a new butter brioche roll with “the crispier, thicker cucumbers” and “the real mayo of the supreme” – and it is offered in a classic or spicy form.

The a la carte KFC Chicken Sandwich is $ 3.99 and a side dish and medium drink combo is $ 6.99. It will be available in restaurants in Orlando, Winter Park, Sanford, Kissimmee, Clermont, Mount Dora, and Poinciana.
