The Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates goals this season helped donate R335,000 worth of groceries to the underprivileged in Soweto this morning.
The Corporate Social Investment through its main sponsor Vodacom has resulted in the telecommunications giant donating R5000 for every goal of the two DStv Premiership clubs this season.

With the chiefs scoring 34 and the pirates scoring 33, a total of 67 goals resulted in a grand total of R335,000 which was used to create the food parcels that were packed by the two teams of players on Monday.
Score for food
It may not have been the best domestic season for either team, with the Buccaneers finishing third and Amakhosi finishing eighth, but their season ended with a good cause.
Players like Samir Nurkovic, Thembinkosi Lorch, Reeve Frosler and Wayde Jooste were among the many players pictured at the event for the CSI initiative.
