InvenTrust Properties Corp. will redevelop 93,358 SF Suncrest Village Shopping Center in Orlando
ORLANDO, FLA. – InvenTrust Properties Corp. announced plans to redevelop Suncrest Village, including replacing the Publix grocery store that anchors the property. The 93,358 square foot mall is located on the corner of University Boulevard and Dean Road at 10021-10115 University Blvd. in Orlando. The construction time should take about 12 months.
InvenTrust’s planned improvements to the center include replacing the existing Publix building with a new, larger prototype Publix store to be built in the same location. The facades of the small shop tenants in Suncrest Village are getting a new coat of paint, new lighting, a replacement of the mission tile roof, a new tape on parts of the canopy, improved landscaping and green trellis areas with accent lighting.
InvenTrust plans to use sustainable processes during this renovation. For example, the centre’s parking lot was equipped with LED lighting and reusable materials will be sorted and recycled during the demolition in order to reduce landfill waste.
The Suncrest Village is located on University Boulevard and is 2.8 miles from the University of Central Florida. The center offers local, regional, and national restaurants, services, and retailers such as Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies, Mei’s Kitchen, Fuji Yama Sushi, Subway, and University Wine & Spirits. InvenTrust Properties’ Matt Hagan and Kara Morabito will be overseeing the rental at Suncrest Village.
