Filet Mignon Sandwich Restaurant opens first location in Orlando

A popular Pennsylvania restaurant chain is opening its first Florida location in Orlando this Friday.

Nick Filet is located at 7600 Dr. Phillips Blvd. in the area known as Restaurant Row, which draws tourists, locals, and business people from the surrounding theme parks.

The restaurant offers a delicious menu with filet mignon sandwiches (Signature or Build Your Own), grilled surf and lawn cheese, lobster rolls, salads, parmesan and truffle tots, spiced fillet canapes and mac & cheese.

“I believe in the unique Nick Filet brand and of course I love the fantastic food – everything just went together,” said Tracy Barone, manager of Nick Filet, in a press release to Orlando Weekly. “We’re excited to bring our hometown local favorite to our new Florida community.”

According to Orlando Weekly, Nick Filet is open 7 days a week, Sunday through Wednesday, 11am to 9pm, and Thursday through Saturday, 11am to 10pm. A second location in Orlando is also planned for the future.
