CVS shops within the Orlando space start delivering COVID-19 vaccinations


CVS stores in the Orlando metropolitan area are offering the COVID-19 vaccine to Eligible Individuals.

Governor Ron DeSantis announces that the chain is expanding its vaccinations in Florida.

The CVS website indicates that vaccinations will be available in Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, and Kissimmee.

School employees of all ages can get the coronavirus vaccination at CVS locations in Florida. School staff can also get vaccinated at Walmart, Publix, Walgreens, the Orange County Convention Center, and the FEMA Immunization Center in Orlando.

CVS lists eligibility to get vaccination in their stores as follows:

  • People aged 65 and over
  • Teachers K-12, day carers and preschoolers and staff
  • Healthcare Workers, EMS
  • From 16 years of age with a signed form to identify extreme security gaps
  • From the age of 50 sworn police officers and firefighters

Governor Ron DeSantis announced Monday that the state would lower the age for vaccination availability to 60 years and older next week.
