Common Orlando extends Mardi Gras celebration
ORLANDO, Florida – The good times at Universal Orlando will last a little longer.

- Universal Orlando cited “popular demand” as the reason for the longer term
- There are no parades this year, but visitors can catch pearls on some floats
The resort announced Thursday that it had extended its Mardi Gras celebration. Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, which was originally scheduled for March 28th, has been extended to April 11th due to “great demand”.
This year’s celebrations will feature more than 100 new foods and drinks at themed booths at Universal Studios, Florida.
Visitors can catch pearls from some of the carts parked in the park and purchase exclusive merchandise in the tribute store.
