The theme of the ride is based on ‘Jurrasic World’s Raptor’s Paddock’. “We see this in the first Jurassic World movie, so it gave us as designers a really fun world to play in,” said Honea.
The team worked with the film studios that made the films to understand Jurassic’s creative canon. “Yes [it was] very unique because we know there is no such thing as a roller coaster movie, ”said Gregory Hall, roller coaster art director.
“So we got together with the filmmakers and talked to them a bit about whether it would be crazy if they put a roller coaster in the Raptor paddock and it made perfect sense in the cannon. It definitely feels like a deleted scene. ” the excitement you’d expect from a Jurassic franchise, “said Honea.
