6-year-old boy dies after being caught in the gate of the Orlando parking garage, police say


ORLANDO, Florida. – A 6-year-old boy died on Saturday night after getting into a roll-up parking garage door, according to new information from the Orlando police.

The incident occurred on May 29th on the 300th block of Concord Street.

The boy was previously seriously injured in life support.

Orlando police said Saturday night that the investigation was ongoing.

The detectives are now waiting for the local court’s final decision.

A week ago officers responded to the call after learning that the boy was caught in the gate. The police could get him out. They performed CPR on the child, according to the department, and the boy was taken to hospital.

The ministry spoke of a “tragic accident”.

The details that led to the boy being caught in the gate have not been released.
